Established in 1852, the Al Qurashi family business originated as a processing plant for oud wood in Saudi Arabia, later expanding to include the processing of amber and other perfume raw materials. Al Sheikh Abdul Samad Al Qurashi further developed the business in 1932 to produce exclusive perfumes. Today, the "The One" collection features fragrances originally crafted for the Saudi Arabian royal family by Al Sheikh Abdul Samad Al Qurashi himself. Abdul Samad Al Qurashi (ASQ) perfume house was established by the sons of Al Sheikh Abdul Samad Al Qurashi, who consolidated their individual perfume houses under their father's name to create the current company. ASQ remains actively engaged in manufacturing and processing a variety of perfume raw materials, with a focus on Taif rose oils and eaglewood products. Notably, ASQ excels in creating fragrance oils derived from pure oud. ASQ distributes its products primarily through its own stores, with select availability outside the Arab world via a store in Paris and a few online retailers.
