Gabriela Sabatini, born in 1970 in Buenos Aires, is a former professional tennis player from Argentina who began playing at the age of 6. She quickly rose through the ranks, winning her first tournament at 8 and the prestigious under-18 Orange Bowl at 13, becoming the youngest ever winner at the time. Sabatini went on to secure six junior Grand Slam titles and was ranked the best junior player globally in 1984. In 1985, at just 15 years old, Sabatini made history as the youngest player to reach the French Open semifinals. Throughout the late 80s and 90s, she became one of the top tennis players in the world, maintaining a top-ten ranking for a decade. Her professional career spanned from 1985 to 1996. Following her retirement from tennis, Sabatini transitioned into a successful business career. In 1989, she pioneered the concept of celebrity fragrances by granting the Mülhens company, now Wella, a license to create a fragrance line under her name at the age of 18. This move solidified her status as a trailblazer in the marketing world.
