Grossmith

Grossmith, a renowned British perfume brand with a rich history, was given a second chance in the fragrance industry, marking a new chapter in its legacy. Established in the early 19th century by John Grossmith's family in London in 1835, the brand gained popularity with iconic scents like "Victorian Bouquet" and "English Lilac" until it was forced to shut down during World War II in 1940. Following the war, Simon Brooke, the great-great-grandson of the brand's founder, stumbled upon the old documents, formulas, and baccara bottles of the original fragrance house. Inspired by the brand's royal heritage and timeless elegance, Brooke decided to revive Grossmith. The brand reemerged in 2011 with the launch of "Betrothal," a captivating floral-green women's fragrance, followed by seven more women's and two unisex fragrances by 2016. A dedicated team of eight expert perfumers collaborated to recreate and modernize Grossmith's classic scents while preserving the brand's heritage. The exquisite bottles, tailored for the 21st century reissue, maintain the same elegant design that has become synonymous with Grossmith. For perfume enthusiasts worldwide, Grossmith represents a blend of artistry, tradition, and luxury. Whether browsing through beauty portals, visiting stores like Douglas, shopping online at Zalando, or exploring the brand's website, Grossmith fragrances are sought after for their exceptional quality and sophistication.
