Honoré Payan Perfumes

Established in 1854 by Honoré Payan in Grasse, France, "Honoré Payan" is a renowned perfume brand located in the historic center of the world-famous "perfume capital." Following the takeover by cousins Antoine Payan and Etienne Bertrand in either 1883 or 1886, the company was renamed "Payan et Bertrand" before their separation in 1893 or 1907. Despite the split, "Honoré Payan" was revitalized and continues to thrive today as a family-owned business that prides itself on crafting perfumes using French and natural ingredients in an artisanal manner. In 1954, the Mureau family acquired the brand and relocated it to Le Bar-sur-Loup. A partnership with "Jehanne Rigaud Parfums" in 2002 further solidified the brand's commitment to upholding the tradition of quality fragrance manufacturing. Additionally, "Payan Bertrand S.A." continues to operate, focusing on producing fragrance and flavor ingredients.
