Kilian Hennessy, the ninth-generation heir, shifted the family tradition from cognac to perfume, drawing on his upbringing surrounded by scents of wood, honey, and floral notes from his family's storage cellars. After training as a perfumer and gaining experience at top houses like Dior and Armani, Kilian founded his own brand in Paris in 2007. Initially a high-end and exclusive line, Kilian quickly established a strong presence in the fine fragrance and niche market upon its launch. The "L'oeuvre Noire" collection, with its categories of pleasure, love, and pain, features nine fragrances representing Kilian's unique olfactory vision. Additionally, the "Arabian Nights Collection" offers two captivating scents.
