Martine Micallef and her husband Geoffrey Newman operate the Micallef brand located on the Côte d'Azur near Cannes, drawing inspiration from traditional perfume craftsmanship and the use of natural ingredients. Martine, a talented painter, infuses her artistic vision into the design, decoration, and painting of exquisite bottles created specifically for Micallef fragrances. Their artisanal approach extends to every detail, resulting in the production of high-quality scents housed in unique and carefully crafted bottles. While the brand offers limited edition pieces, they also produce fragrances available in series at more accessible prices. Since 1996, the Micallef brand, incorporated within a beauty institute, has introduced three main perfume collections, each centered around a distinct theme: Les 4 Saisons (inspired by personal color schemes for each fragrance), Les Exclusifs (dedicated to interpreting exclusive scents like oud), and Les Notes (fragrances inspired by music, with the option to purchase CDs featuring the corresponding tracks). Additionally, the brand offers individual fragrances and Le Parfum Crystal, featuring handcrafted bottles filled with Micallef scents. Moreover, Micallef provides department stores, hotels, and private perfumeries with the opportunity to create a "private label" fragrance exclusively designed for their brand.
