Isak Andic, born in 1955, may not be a household name, but his brand "Mango" is highly regarded by fashion enthusiasts worldwide. Following his family's move from Turkey to Spain, Andic established his first women's fashion boutiques in Madrid and Barcelona under the name "Isak Jeans." The brand was later renamed "Mango" in 1984 to appeal to a more international audience. The expansion of Mango began in 1992, starting in Spain and later branching out to include a men's collection ("Mango Man" in 2008), a children's line ("Mango Kids" in 2013), and "Violeta by Mango" - a special collection for women with curves in 2014.
