Molinard

Established in 1849, Molinard is a prestigious family-run perfumery with a rich heritage, now housed in a historic Gustave Eiffel-designed manufacturing building in Grasse since 1900. Initially known for their light perfumed waters and colognes, Molinard expanded its offerings in 1860 with the introduction of perfumes such as rose, jasmine, violet, and mimosa sold in exquisite Baccarat crystal flacons. A pivotal moment in Molinard's history was the creation of the iconic "Habanita" fragrance in 1921, originally crafted for scenting cigarettes but later reimagined as a perfume for women. This groundbreaking scent has stood the test of time and remains a cornerstone of the brand's success. Renowned artist René Lalique contributed to Molinard's legacy by designing exquisite flacons for their fragrances in the 1930s, continuing the tradition of exceptional craftsmanship. Today, Molinard upholds its legacy of quality and tradition, focusing on the expertise of its Grasse artisans rather than high-profile partnerships or trends. In commemoration of its 160th anniversary in 2009, Molinard released a special fragrance named "160", featuring a luxurious design adorned with sparkling rhinestones. This perfume encapsulates the timeless elegance and enduring craftsmanship that define the essence of Molinard.
