Born in 1951, Ramón Monegal Maso has over 35 years of experience in the perfume industry. A fourth-generation descendant of the founders of the iconic Myrurgia company, he has played a significant role in the perfume history of Barcelona and Spain. After working for Myrurgia, he honed his craft under the guidance of esteemed perfumers in Geneva, Grasse, and Paris. In 1979, he created his first successful perfume, "Alada," for Myrurgia, followed by equally popular scents for Don Algodón, Massimo Dutti, and Adolfo Dominguez. As a key figure in Myrurgia's perfume division, he developed products for renowned brands like Zara Group and Panama Jack. Following Puig's acquisition of Myrurgia in 2000, Ramón Monegal Maso continued to excel in the industry, managing the perfume division of Adolfo Dominguez. In 2008, he established his own business and in 2009 founded Monegal Projects, introducing the RM brand. With a range of 13 fragrances across three categories, Ramón Monegal Maso showcases his unique artistic style at affordable prices. His compositions are lauded for their creativity and captivation, continuing the Monegal family legacy.
