Tauer Perfumes

Tauer Perfumes, the brainchild of Swiss perfumer Andy Tauer, is known for the distinctive "Tauer stuff" note that characterizes his creations. With a background in chemistry and IT project management, Andy Tauer embarked on his perfumery journey as a self-taught enthusiast, eventually turning his passion into a successful profession. Operating from his home in Zurich's Höngg neighborhood, Tauer Perfumes has gained recognition for its unique and captivating fragrances. The brand's origins can be traced back to 2004 when Andy Tauer developed his first commercial fragrance, "No. 01 - Le Maroc pour Elle," at the request of a bookseller friend. This marked the beginning of a remarkable journey that led to the creation of iconic scents like "No. 02 - L'Air du Désert Marocain." The latter garnered praise from perfume critic Luca Turin, likening it to the work of legendary perfumer François Coty, which further solidified Tauer Perfumes' reputation in the industry. Andy Tauer's dedication to his craft extends beyond the creation of perfumes. Since 2005, he has actively engaged with fragrance enthusiasts through his blog, fostering a sense of community and connection among his clientele. With a commitment to quality and originality, Tauer Perfumes continues to captivate scent lovers with its unique olfactory creations that reflect Andy Tauer's passion and expertise.
