While a branch of the company remained in West Berlin, a subsidiary named "Feinseifen-Parfümerie-Fabrik Jünger & Gebhardt GmbH" in East Berlin was dissolved in September 1951 and transferred to a state-owned entity in the German Democratic Republic as trustee.
