Anna Sui

Anna Sui, an American fashion designer known for her unconventional, colorful, and doll-like creations, brings the same expressive style to her fragrance line. Born in Detroit on August 4, 1963, Sui discovered her love for fashion early on through magazines and went on to study at Parsons The New School for Design in New York. She quickly rose to fame with the help of friends like Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista, holding her first fashion show in 1991. Sui's designs are a blend of historical and cultural influences with a signature girly touch. Her fragrance collection mirrors her fashion line, drawing from diverse cultural inspirations. Fruity top notes, floral accents, and warm base notes create a unique olfactory experience that complements her bold and artistic designs. Profumum Roma, on the other hand, has a rich family history rooted in Rome. After World War II, Celestino and Luisa Durante ventured from a small village with limited prospects to Rome, where they established themselves as prominent perfume producers. Their children, Guiseppe, Luciano, Maria, and Felice, followed suit, but dissatisfaction with the industry's direction led them to break away and form Profumum Roma in 1996. This independent brand focuses on crafting high-quality, characterful fragrances with carefully chosen ingredients, moving away from generic mass-market products. Embracing their rebellious spirit, the siblings have curated a collection of luxury scents that resonate with discerning consumers across Europe, championing authenticity and individuality in a saturated market.
