Dana
Premium Fragrance House
While many may not be aware, Dana, a perfume brand, actually originated as a Spanish company. In 1932, the art director of Myrurgia, Javier Serra, established Dana in Barcelona. The name Dana was chosen due to Serra's fascination with history and mythology. Collaborating with Jean Carles, they created iconic fragrances like "Tabu," "Canoë," and "Emir." Despite facing challenges during the Spanish Civil War and World War II, Dana flourished and by 1955, had expanded globally with 29 factories and 3,000 employees. Today, Dana is an American company under the Dimeling, Schreiber, and Park investment group. Still producing classics like "Tabu," "Canoë," and "Ambush," Dana also reintroduces past favorites like "20 Ks / 20 Carats / 20 Quilates." Additionally, Dana produces fragrances from other renowned perfume houses such as "Black Lace," "Chantilly," and "Heaven Sent" by Rubinstein. With a rich history and a commitment to quality, Dana continues to captivate fragrance enthusiasts worldwide.
