There is a unique connection between the world of perfume and the production of cognac, exemplified by the brand Cognac. Kilian Hennessy, a descendant of the Hennessy cognac family, has ventured into perfumery, as has Beatrice Cointreau-Frapin, hailing from the illustrious Frapin cognac lineage dating back to 1270.

Beatrice, who honed her craft at Jean Jacques Guerlain's perfume school, is now a skilled perfumer creating fragrances for the Frapin house's perfume line. The first fragrance she crafted, named 1270 after the founding year of the Frapin family, pays tribute to the essence of cognac with notes of vine blossom, grape, and wood. Other perfumes under the Frapin name by Beatrice Cointreau-Frapin, Sidonie Lancesseur, and Jeanne-Marie Faugier each explore distinct olfactory themes, rooted in tradition and history. These fragrances, tailored for modern sensibilities, are a nod to the rich heritage of the brand, synonymous with quality brandy craftsmanship.
