The perfume brand is a manifestation of the singular vision of perfumer Lorenzo Villoresi, based in Florence, Italy. Recognized for his artistry in crafting perfumes, cosmetics, and potpourris, Villoresi oversees all creations from the charming fourth floor of a historic 15th-century Florentine palazzo. Eschewing modern conveniences like laboratories and market research, Villoresi's atelier, affectionately named "Wunderkammer", remains true to traditional, hands-on techniques. Born in 1956, Villoresi initially pursued a career in academia but found his true passion in perfumery. Drawing inspiration from extensive scent exploration journeys to the Orient and Silk Road, he transitioned into full-time perfumery in 1990. His impressive portfolio includes collaborations with esteemed fashion houses and the launch of iconic scents like "Donna" and "Uomo". His clientele, which includes Queen Elizabeth, the Blair couple, Sting, and Madonna, speaks volumes about the quality and allure of his creations. Extending his creative endeavors, Villoresi is currently overseeing the transformation of his palazzo into a fragrance academy. Envisioned as a hub for perfume education and production, the academy will feature lectures, seminars, workshops, a fragrance garden, and a spa exclusively for fragrance students.
