Georges Mauboussin, apprenticed to Jean-Baptiste Noury, took over the business in 1883, renaming it "Mauboussin" and relocating to downtown Paris to better serve its elite clientele. The brand showcased exquisite diamonds, rubies, and emeralds in its grand display windows, captivating audiences. Remaining under family ownership, Mauboussin expanded to Cannes, New York, and Moscow, with the Paris Place Vendôme boutique becoming the heart of French jewelry in 1955.
