Born in 1961 in New York, this Cuban designer made a name for himself in the fashion industry after gaining experience at iconic labels such as Calvin Klein, Donna Karan, and Cerruti. Despite initial struggles, he caught the eye of fashion enthusiasts in 1996 with a memorable wedding dress for Caolyn Bessette-Kennedy, and later received the prestigious "Perry Ellis Young Designer Award" in 1998. This recognition led to the relocation of his fashion house from Madrid to New York. In 2003, he ventured into the world of fragrances with the launch of "For Her" in collaboration with Beauté Prestige (Shiseido) followed by "For Him" in 2007, created by the talented duo of Francis Kurkdijan and Christine Nagel. The success of "For Her" led to a limited edition release in 2014.
