Founded in 1996 by Cristina Carlino, a respected figure in dermatology, the brand initially gained recognition for its skincare line, "Bio Medic." Transitioning to the world of fragrance, Philosophy quickly rose to prominence and became a staple in beauty clinics, wellness centers, and spas. Cristina Carlino kickstarted the Philosophy brand with a focus on facial cleansers, drawing attention for its scientific formulations.
