Puma is a renowned brand well-known for its sports goods. Founded by brothers Rudolf and Adolf Dassler in 1923, it started as a shoe factory specializing in sports and running shoes. After World War II, the brothers went their separate ways, with Rudolf establishing Puma in 1949. Puma introduced innovative football boots in 1948, including the first screw-in cleats in 1952, setting new standards for World Cup footwear. The brand gained global recognition with iconic athletes like Pelé, Diego Maradona, Boris Becker, and Martina Navrátilová endorsing Puma's footwear featuring the patented logo. Beyond shoes, Puma expanded its range to include sportswear and casual clothing in the late 1960s. Rudolf Dassler's passing in 1974 led to his sons taking over the brand's reins.
