In 1976, at a later stage in his life, Dali, together with the COFCI company under Jean-Pierre Grivory's direction, launched his first fragrances. The worldwide license for Salvador Dali's perfumes was granted in 1982, with Dali actively contributing ideas for their creation. The first fragrance, "Salvador Dali," debuted in 1983 as an animalic and spicy chypre scent, which received recognition with the Export Oscar. Despite his passing in 1989, Salvador Dali's legacy lives on through the brand's continuation. His influence is evident in the fragrances he co-designed, ensuring they encapsulate his eccentric persona and dream of immortality.
