Victorio & Lucchino

Born in Cordoba in 1952, José Victor Rodriguez Caro (Victorio) and Seville-born José Luis Medina del Corral (Lucchino) crossed paths in 1972 while working at a design firm in Seville. By the late 1970s, the duo founded Victorio & Lucchino, channeling their creative vision into extraordinary wedding dresses. Their inaugural collection debuted in Barcelona in 1984, quickly gaining acclaim and leading to a showcase in New York just a year later. Known for drawing inspiration from the spirit of Andalusia, their designs exude femininity and uniqueness. Victorio & Lucchino infuse their creations with scents of geranium, basil, and myrtle, creating pieces that evoke images of star-studded streets, boulevards, and rivers. Utilizing luxurious fabrics like velvet and silk, they craft designs that set them apart from others in the field. Their repertoire includes the iconic dress worn by Whitney Houston in the movie "Bodyguard." Today, Victorio & Lucchino hold a prominent position in exceptional bridal fashion, achieving international recognition. They also left their mark on the interior design of a luxury hotel's 5th floor in Madrid. Expanding their reach into fragrances and accessories, they introduced "Carmen" as their debut scent in 1992, concurrently launching a jewelry line. Each Victorio & Lucchino fragrance reflects the essence of Andalusia, where the duo resides and finds creative inspiration. Subsequent fragrances such as "Abril," "V & L," "Luz," "Agua de Rocio," "Bambina," "Flores Frescas," and "Hechizo" have garnered their own following. In 2010, the brand introduced their first men's fragrance, "Hombre," continuing their legacy of success. Stay tuned for the next chapter in their ongoing triumph within the industry.
