What We Do Is Secret / A Lab on Fire
Premium Fragrance House
The evolution of the fragrance brand "A Lab on Fire" is a fascinating journey filled with passion and dedication. Originally starting out in 2000 as a small fragrance house in New York known as "S-perfume", a group of committed fragrance researchers embarked on creating unique scents that captivated the senses. Despite initial challenges in garnering a following, the perfumers at "S-perfume" persisted in their experimentation and research, honing their craft over the years. In 2011, a breakthrough moment arrived with the creation of the iconic fragrance "L'Anonyme ou OP-1475-A" in collaboration with perfumer Olivier Polge. This marked a turning point for the brand, leading to a rebranding as "A Lab on Fire". Subsequent successes followed with notable releases like "What We Do In Paris Is Secret" crafted by Dominique Ropion, solidifying the label's reputation for expertise in the fragrance industry. Originally produced for the renowned "Collette Store" in Paris, the brand eventually transitioned to its own identity as "What We Do In Paris Is Secret", embracing new fragrances, production techniques, and creative spaces. Through perseverance and innovation, "A Lab on Fire" has emerged as a distinctive and independent brand that continues to push boundaries in the world of perfumery.
