Civettone in Perfume

Civettone is a synthetic musk note derived from the scent glands of the civet cat. It adds an animalic, musky, and sensual quality to perfumes, often used as a base note in luxury fragrances.

Civettone appears in 15 perfumes on Aromifo. It is used as a base note in 85% of them and a heart note in 15%. It is most often paired with Bergamot, Civet and Sandalwood, and 93% of the perfumes that use it are unisex.
