Colophony in Perfume

Colophony, also known as pine resin, is a warm and resinous note in perfumery. It exudes a rich and balsamic scent with hints of pine and wood, adding depth and intensity to fragrance compositions.

Colophony appears in 12 perfumes on Aromifo. It is used as a heart note in 40% of them, a top note in 40% and a base note in 20%. It is most often paired with Leather, Air accord and Cedar, and 92% of the perfumes that use it are unisex.
