Indian civet in Perfume

Indian civet is a warm, musky scent extracted from the glandular secretions of the civet cat. It adds depth and sensuality to perfumes with its animalic and sweet characteristics.

Indian civet appears in 13 perfumes on Aromifo. It is used as a heart note in 71% of them, a base note in 14% and a top note in 14%. It is most often paired with Mysore sandalwood, Thai oud and Himalayan deer musk, and 92% of the perfumes that use it are unisex.
