Spruce resin is a warm, woody, and resinous scent extracted from the bark of the spruce tree. It has a fresh, earthy aroma that is often used in perfumery to add depth and complexity to fragrances.

Spruce resin appears in 12 perfumes on Aromifo. It is used as a heart note in 56% of them and a base note in 44%. It is most often paired with Labdanum, Ambergris and Gaiac wood, and 75% of the perfumes that use it are unisex.
