Although Ginestet has roots in wine, the brand found commonality with the art of perfume composition. Just as in creating a Bordeaux blend, crafting a fragrance involves considerations of various elements such as fruitiness, astringency, sweetness, acidity, and other nuanced notes. This realization sparked a collaboration between Christian Delpeuch, a director at Ginestet, and Gilles Toledano, a skilled perfumer from Grasse.

Their shared passion for both oenology and perfumery led them to develop a unique collection of fragrances inspired by Bordeaux varieties.
