Cistus absolute in Perfume

Cistus absolute is a rich and complex note derived from the resin of the rock rose plant. It has a warm, woody, and slightly sweet aroma with hints of amber and balsamic undertones.

Cistus absolute appears in 200 perfumes on Aromifo. It is used as a base note in 72% of them, a heart note in 26% and a top note in 2%. It is most often paired with Patchouli, Musk and Bergamot, and 75% of the perfumes that use it are unisex.
