Damascenone is a powerful, floral compound found in roses and widely used in perfumery. It adds a rich, sweet, and fruity scent, often evoking feelings of romance and luxury.

Damascenone appears in 20 perfumes on Aromifo. It is used as a heart note in 50% of them, a top note in 40% and a base note in 10%. It is most often paired with Cambodian oud, Ambergris and Labdanum, and 95% of the perfumes that use it are unisex.
