Castoreum in Perfume

Animal ingredient with a leathery scent, also reminiscent of ink

Castoreum appears in 1,250 perfumes on Aromifo. It is used as a base note in 85% of them, a heart note in 11% and a top note in 4%. It is most often paired with Patchouli, Musk and Sandalwood, and 73% of the perfumes that use it are unisex.
